Merry Christmas!

It's that time of year, gentle Readers.  Time to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a very happy 2012.  I wish for each and every one of you, new books to read, gift cards to go buy books you really want to read, and a joyful holiday, whether you are with family, friends, or enjoying some solitude. Wherever you are, may peace be part of your day.

                                                  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I wish you the very same right back.

I've had a good book Christmas - five books bought with vouchers and enough left over for one or two more, plus a voucher that I think will get spend on Doctor Who DVDs. Not to mention the other stuff I got spoiled with.

A lovely lunch with family and friends and a seven year old who is having so much fun with his new Lego he must have built it, pulled it apart and rebuilt at least six or seven times already.

So it's been a great Christmas Day for me. I hope yours will be the same.

(For some reason, I can never get Blogger to sign me in to post, so I've gone to using my Wordpress ID instead, but if you didn't realise, this is Kerry in NZ.)

Hi Kerry: Thank you! It sounds like you had a fabulous Christmas. I can't believe Marcus is that old now! We have Lego going here too. A Pirates of the Caribbean set, and then Star Wars. I seem to be helping a bit, too! lol I'm going to be posting about my Christmas books, so everyone can see what went into the box I was filling! lol

We had a fabulous Christmas too - very quiet, just us, and it was exactly what I needed. Plus we had a little snow, so it looks Christmas-y outside too now.

I hope 2012 is a good year for you, Kerry!

Cath: LOL!!! It's all that turkey, isn't it? and the relief from stress...it must be so good to have the surgery over for your daughter. Was your Christmas as quiet as you hoped for? Ours has been. Lovely and quiet, and restful.

Nymeth: Merry Christmas to you too, dear Ana! I'm sending you a message on Facebook too....
